Stakeholder analysis workshop in Jordan

Jan 15, 2016
The second workshop on stakeholder analysis within the WaSe component of the WATER SUM project was held on January 14, 2016, in Amman, Kingdom of Jordan. The workshop was moderated by Danko Aleksic (REC) and Sameeh Al Nuimat (IUCN ROWA) and resulted in the completion of REC "green sheet" stakeholder tables for both national and local level.

The event was organised by the REC and the IUCN Regional Office for West Asia (IUCN ROWA) and brought together around 40 participants from various national institutions as well as from four municipalities involved in the project (Al Salt, Karak, Jarash and Ajloun). After introductory presentations on the REC, the IUCN, and the basic principles of stakeholder analysis, participants discussed how national and local stakeholders are influenced by water security action planning.
